Create Your Own Mini Terms

Terms & Conditions

Mythium · Effective as of 3 August 2026

1. Who We Are

These terms apply to all orders placed through the Mythium Mini Configurator, operated by Mythium, with registered address at Paulus Moreelsestraat 83, 7545ZB, Enschede, The Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 97989843 and VAT (BTW) number NL005301560B42. For any question about your order you can reach us at info@mythium.store. By placing an order you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Accuracy of the Preview

The Mythium Mini Configurator provides an indicative preview of your uploaded artwork. This preview is intended to give a general impression of the final miniature, but it is not a final production proof.

The live silhouette, background removal and cutline preview are automatically generated and may not fully reflect the final shape, proportions or cutline of the finished miniature. All files are manually checked before production, and final cutlines are created by hand.

We reproduce your artwork as closely as our UV printing process technically allows. Minor colour variation may occur due to differences between screens and printed material. We do not alter the composition or content of your artwork.

3. File Review & Print Quality

Every order is manually reviewed by our production team before printing begins. We check your file for resolution, colour profile, transparency, and print readiness.

If we detect an issue that could significantly affect the result, for example very low resolution or corrupted file data, we will contact you before proceeding with production.

4. Your Artwork: Rights & Responsibilities

4.1 Your warranty. By uploading artwork to the Mythium Mini Configurator, you confirm that you are the rights holder of that artwork, or that you have the rights holder's permission to have it reproduced on a physical product. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

4.2 Prohibited content. You may not upload artwork that infringes any copyright, trademark, design right, portrait right or other intellectual property right; that depicts nudity, sexually explicit or adult content; that is hateful, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise unlawful; or that depicts an identifiable person without their consent.

4.3 Our review is a safeguard, not an approval. We use automated checks and a manual review to identify prohibited content before production. These checks protect our production process; they are not a legal clearance of your artwork. The fact that an order passes review, enters production, or is delivered does not mean we have verified that you hold the necessary rights, and does not transfer responsibility for the content of your artwork to us.

4.4 Refusal, cancellation and destruction. We may refuse, cancel or halt any order at any stage, including after payment and after production has begun, and we may destroy any item already produced, where we believe in good faith that the artwork breaches Section 4.1 or 4.2, or where a rights holder contacts us with a complaint or takedown notice. In that case we refund the amount you paid for the affected item. That refund is your sole remedy; we are not obliged to deliver the item.

4.5 Indemnity. If a third party brings a claim against us in connection with artwork you uploaded, including a claim of intellectual property infringement, you will indemnify us against that claim and against any resulting damages, settlements, fines and reasonable legal and administrative costs. We will notify you promptly of any such claim, will give you a reasonable opportunity to respond, and will not settle it without consulting you first. This indemnity does not apply to the extent that the claim arises from our own error, such as producing a file you did not upload, or altering your design other than as described in Section 2.

4.6 Licence to produce. You retain all rights in your artwork. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, adapt (for example background removal and cutline creation) and reproduce your artwork solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your order. We do not use your artwork for promotional or commercial purposes without your explicit written permission.

5. Ordering & Payment

All prices are shown in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments, and accepted payment methods include credit and debit card and iDEAL.

Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully completed and you receive a confirmation email, after which production begins promptly.

We may refuse or cancel orders as described in Section 4, or where the artwork cannot be reproduced to our quality standards. Obvious pricing or typographical errors do not bind us, and we may correct them or cancel the affected order with a full refund.

6. Delivery

We ship to the address you provide. Production typically takes 1-2 weeks before the order is dispatched. Standard delivery times apply after dispatch. These are indicative rather than guaranteed. Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown before you complete payment.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact us and we will resolve it.

7. Custom Products, Returns & Refunds

Mythium Minis are made-to-order, personalised products. Under Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code, which implements Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or custom-made. Once production has begun, we cannot accept a standard return or exchange.

You may cancel free of charge if you contact us before production has started, typically within 1 hour of your order confirmation.

This does not affect your statutory rights. If your product is defective or does not match what you ordered, for example a print error, the wrong file used, or a manufacturing fault, you are entitled to a free replacement or a full refund. To make a claim, contact us at info@mythium.store with your order details, a short description, and photos if available. We aim to respond within 1 business day and to process approved refunds within 5 business days.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, or our liability for death, personal injury, intent or gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We are not liable for any loss, claim or cost arising from artwork you uploaded in breach of Section 4. Section 4.5 applies to such claims.

9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@mythium.store, so we can try to resolve it together. If we are unable to resolve it, you can bring the dispute before the competent court identified in Section 10. As an EU consumer, you can also seek free guidance from your national consumer authority or, for cross-border purchases, from the European Consumer Centre network (ECC-Net).

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Overijssel, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

Privacy Policy

Mythium · Effective as of 3 August 2026

1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for your personal data is Mythium, Paulus Moreelsestraat 83, 7545ZB, Enschede, The Netherlands, KvK 97989843. For any privacy question, contact us at info@mythium.store.

We only collect the information we need to fulfil your order, and we handle it in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

2. What Data We Collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address and phone number, your delivery address, the artwork files you upload for printing, and your payment reference. We also record the date and time at which you accepted these terms, and the version you accepted, so that we can demonstrate what was agreed. We never store card details, as these are handled entirely by Shopify Payments.

Our platform provider may process limited technical data, such as server logs, as part of operating the website securely; we rely on our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website for this. We do not use marketing trackers or third-party advertising analytics on our configurator.

3. Why We Use Your Data and on What Legal Basis

We use your personal data to process, produce, and deliver your order and to send your order confirmation, on the basis of performing our contract with you. We use it to contact you about a problem with your file or shipment, also on the basis of performing our contract. We keep order and invoice records to comply with our legal and tax obligations. We keep a record of your acceptance of these terms on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to evidence the agreement between us. Where you have opted in, we use your details to send optional updates and offers, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Your uploaded artwork is used solely to produce your miniature. We do not reproduce, display, or distribute your artwork for any commercial or promotional purpose without your explicit written permission.

4. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it for advertising or profiling. We share only the minimum necessary data with service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Shopify, which hosts our store, processes and stores your order data, and sends order and service emails; Shopify Payments for payment processing; Google Cloud for secure storage of your uploaded artwork, stored within the Netherlands; Railway, our backend provider, which processes your uploaded artwork during the upload and ordering flow; OpenAI, which performs automated checks on uploaded artwork to detect prohibited content such as infringing or explicit material; and PostNL, which receives your delivery address to ship your order.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep order and invoice details (name, address, email, payment reference) for as long as required by law, typically 7 years under Dutch tax law. The record of your acceptance of these terms is kept for the same period.

Uploaded artwork files are kept only as long as needed to produce and ship your order, and are permanently deleted no later than 90 days after your order date. Your artwork is not archived or retained for any other purpose.

6. Optional Communications

We send marketing messages only if you have explicitly opted in. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe option, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@mythium.store.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mythium.store; we will respond within 5 business days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

8. Changes

This policy may change. We will notify you of any significant updates by email or on our website.

Return Policy

Mythium · Effective as of 3 August 2026

Every Mythium Mini is made to order, personalised specifically for you. Please read this before placing your order.

Custom Products & the Right of Withdrawal

Mythium Minis are made-to-order, personalised products. Under Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code, implementing Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or custom-made.

Once production has begun, we cannot accept a standard return or exchange, because the product has been made exclusively for you based on the artwork you uploaded.

If We Cancel Your Order

We may cancel an order at any stage if the uploaded artwork breaches our content rules, including where a rights holder contacts us about it. See Section 4 of our Terms & Conditions. If that happens, you receive a full refund of the amount paid for the affected item. This refund replaces delivery; it is not paid in addition to it.

Before You Order

Before you order, please make sure that you hold the rights to the artwork you upload or have permission to use it, that your uploaded artwork is the correct file and at sufficient resolution, that you have selected the right size (Small, Medium, or Large), that the quantity per design is correct, and that you are happy with the silhouette preview shown in the configurator.

Cancellations are only possible if you contact us before production has started, typically within 1 hour of your order confirmation.

Quality Guarantee

Your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods always apply. If there is a defect on our side, such as a print error, the wrong file used, or a manufacturing fault, we will reproduce your order at no cost or issue a full refund. In that case you do not need to return the product unless we ask you to.

We aim for your order to meet the following standards: the printed image matches your uploaded file as closely as the UV printing process technically allows and the acrylic arrives without cracks, chips, or print defects.

Contact Us

If you are unhappy with your order, please reach out. We take every concern seriously and will always look for a fair solution.

You can contact Mythium Customer Support at info@mythium.store. We aim to respond within 1 business day. Please include your order confirmation email and a short description of the issue; photos are helpful but not required. For full details on our quality guarantees, see our Terms & Conditions.
